@ 1.30PM GLASTONBURY
The Trust Annual Meeting this year will be in the central
location of Glastonbury.
Once again, we will meet on a Saturday. This year our
location is the Somerset Rural Life Museum, which has
plenty of parking!
Following the meeting, we will visit St John’s Church, which
can trace its foundation to c950. In addition to the many
interesting features, St John’s has recently been
“reordered” enabling visitors to see the full glory of this
ancient church, unhindered by pews! Once again, our
guide will be the brilliant, former County Archaeologist, Bob
Croft. Depending upon numbers, there are other options for
us to include, before we head back to the Rural Life
Museum (it is well worth a visit in itself, starting with the
stunning Abbey Barn and magnificent horse with Tor backdrop!) for tea and cake.
